I’m not kidding! Who knew? It’s not like it’s an offensive or particularly odd name, after all, but it’s also not like people are walking around asking their florists for seeds to grow a few Zimbabwean houses and Latvian houses in their gardens, either. The Chinese Houses flowers are pretty striking, though, with graceful sprawling purple and white petals. From the snapdragon family, they do resemble plain snapdragons in shape, though their color is much more delicate.
